For all
of You who
Foster; This is
for You
|
Fostering!
When you foster a dog
or cat, you are saving a life! Each animal placed in a foster
home
frees up one space in boarding, allowing us to rescue one dog or
cat from the pound or an abandoned animal left on the streets.
Every week we are contacted to help with stray and abandoned
cats and dogs, and we can only get them to safety by having
foster homes and by cooperating with other humane organizations
who are dedicated to the same goal. Fostering is an important
component to saving lives.
Will you help?
Spreading the message of proper care of animals is important
too, will you pledge to be a spay/ neuter advocate? Contact us
if you know of a caretaker struggling to care for a pet; we will
help.

Become a Foster Parent Volunteer; Here are just a Few of the
Benefits:
Be part of the solution;
you'll join a network
of hundreds of thousands of people working to make the world
safe and more humane for all living creatures. You'll make the
jobs of everyone working for animals a little easier by lending

and animal protection.
Get warm fuzzies;
you'll never find a more grateful and accepting comrade than an
animal you've comforted.
Keep good company; you'll make lots of new friends—and not
just the four-legged kind. Working side by side with people who
share similar interests can forge lifelong friendships.
Meet the new you; you'll discover skills you never knew you
had, and you may be surprised at what you're capable of
achieving.
Gain a new career; you'll learn things that may lead you to
the career—or career change—of your dreams. Employers and
college admissions officers look favorably on time spent in
volunteer service.
Enjoy a wagging tail, a purr, and a

things in life are free? |

If you have space in your home to help when emergencies arise,
we are thrilled. We are often looking for foster homes for
nursing mothers - both cats, and dogs, which, of course involves
having ‘infants’ temporarily living with you.
These are truly
rewarding and challenging situations. We also often need foster
homes for animals that need a ‘quiet’ time to get over having
lost their human companion or family. One of the most rewarding
experiences for these carers is seeing a previously uncared-for
animal finding who they are and learning to trust once again.
Some animals also
need time to rebound from a traumatic situation such as abuse,
hunger or general neglect.
"If you feel you
would like to be one of these 'everyday heroes' for MassPAWS
animals, please call us at 617.846.5586 or email us at: MassPAWS@aol.com and
submit your questions. A MassPAWS volunteer will answer all of
your questions and discuss all details with you".
